A nurse from the Cardiovascular Diagnostic Center will call you the
day before your test to provide additional instructions and answer any
questions.
The morning of your procedure, take your medications as instructed by your physician.
Bring all medications in their original containers to the Center.
Physician orders determine food and liquid restrictions the night before and the day of the procedure.
Arrangements should be made for someone to drive you home
after your procedure, and it is strongly recommended that you have
someone stay with you overnight.
Wear loose fitting clothing and shoes that slip on, to allow you to dress with a minimum of effort when it is time to go home.
Patients generally stay at the Center approximately 4-5 hours from the time they arrive.
The Center provides light snacks, crackers, fruit juices, and
soft drinks. You may bring a sack lunch from home. Kitchen facilities

Please leave money and valuables at home. Bring your insurance cards and driver's license.
